Vice Dean of AI & Analytics Eric Bradlow Featured in Poets & Quants Roundtable Discussion

On Wednesday, September 25th, Eric Bradlow, Vice Dean of AI & Analytics at Wharton, joined Sharon Chen, Chair and Professor, W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, and Balaji Padmanabhan, Director of the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Business at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, in a roundtable conversation on AI and business education. The roundtable, which was hosted by John A. Byrne, Founder and Editor in Chief of Poets & Quants, touched upon the ways different business schools are approaching and embracing artificial intelligence. One thing each of the panelists agreed upon is that it is not only necessary but imperative for schools to prepare their students for an AI future.

“I don’t know how a student can’t be trained in the use of AI and large language models today,” said Bradlow. “It’s not just efficiency, it’s a whole set of skills that employers are going to want them to have…If I’m a student and my school’s not embracing AI, I think that’s pretty tough.”
