The best things about Wharton
- Provides rigorous education in core business skills, which is immediately useful in the real world
- Fosters practical application of theoretical concepts in interactive team projects and field studies
- The reputation, and wide alumni network are extremely useful when considering career choices
3 things I love about Philly
The unique music, arts and culture, the food (way more than just cheesesteaks!), the fact that it’s a college town so close to the city and only 90 minutes from NYC.
3 things I want to do in my life
Visit all ancient and new Wonders of the World, finish an Iron Man Triathlon, merge my business and technology interests in philanthropy.
What I want to do with my business education
My ultimate goal is to leverage my experiences in the M&T program. Whether I pursue a career on Wall Street or in Silicon Valley at a tech start-up, I want to be in a position where I can affect a great number of people in a positive way. Wharton has certainly provided me with the solid foundation in business necessary to succeed in whichever route I pursue.
My “business and more” experience
Being a Wharton student at Penn is truly the best of both worlds. I’ve had access to premier faculty in the Finance and Management departments at Wharton, as well as access to fantastic facilities and an extensive alumni network. However, beyond Wharton, Penn has given me an unparalleled array of liberal arts courses, volunteer leadership opportunities, and a great social life. The ability to be active in the Finance Club at Wharton, a member on a body of Penn Student Government, and board member at the Weiss Tech House, is something I value highly. The Wharton experience at Penn really does offer business and more.
